Job Summary
Assists managers in all facets of sales, marketing, and service processes; from solicitation of sales through service of events while in-house, including after‑event follow‑up, by typing, copying, distributing, and filing all related correspondence as well as answering and responding appropriately to incoming telephone calls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provides support to Food & Beverage/Marketing leadership.

Conducts market research, coordinates marketing meetings, and supplies all necessary documentation.

Assists in gathering dates for all aspects of reporting.

Assists with web design and maintenance.

Reviews the website to identify fixes and suggests improvements.

Maintains website content, email promotions, and other duties related to Harlow’s website.

Tracks contract elements for sponsorships, events, and media promotions.

Coordinates set‑up and staffing for all on‑ and off‑site marketing events.

Audits media purchases against invoices received.

Collects post‑event information for management to prepare summary reports.

Reviews post‑analysis reports and recommends future planning to management.

Ensures contracted deadlines are met.

Serves as liaison between Sales, Food & Beverage, Marketing departments, vendors, and suppliers.

Completes internal forms for event execution, promotional coupons, purchase requisitions, and other company and department forms.

Solicits new business within and outside the community.

Required Skills and Abilities
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common documentation. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies, or members of the staff. Ability to write and present information to management in a reasonable manner. Ability to perform normal mathematical computations for job duties. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables.

Computer, telephone, fax, and copier knowledge required.

Must be able to obtain a Work Permit by the Mississippi Gaming Commission. Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Education and Experience
Degree with training and experience in a casino environment. Background in marketing, customer relations marketing, or public relations preferred. Two (2) years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
The work environment consists of demanding surroundings with a high noise level. Physical demands include sitting and talking, walking and reaching with arms and hands, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
