Overview
The MBS Sales Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the growth of SimCorp's Managed Business Services offering across the Americas. Reporting to the Global Head of MBS Sales, the specialist will support opportunity development across the full sales lifecycle—from target identification and preparation to follow-up execution and pipeline progression.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with client management, sales, business development representatives, and partner teams to ensure effective outreach to target clients and consultants.
Identify and qualify new business opportunities from SimCorp's existing and prospective client base.
Coordinate RFI and RFP responses in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Prepare high-impact client meetings, including client research, attendee analysis, and development of pitch materials.
Manage professional follow-up from client meetings to drive momentum and opportunity progression.
Support internal governance activities such as pricing, deal approvals, and Salesforce pipeline reporting.
Coordinate MBS participation in SimCorp promotional activities, including events, conferences, and client entertainment.
Maintain high-quality CRM data by enriching, updating, and cleaning Salesforce records.
Monitor industry and market developments to spot potential MBS opportunities.
Partner with Sales and Marketing to ensure consistent messaging to prospects, clients, and partners.
Provide feedback on marketing campaigns based on market and prospect insights.
Coordinate with Sales Managers in the Market Unit on MBS-related opportunities.
Ensure timely and accurate entry of leads, contacts, interactions, and intelligence in Salesforce.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in buy-side middle- and back-office processes or supporting them.
Foundational understanding of capital markets, investment operations, and portfolio management systems.
Knowledge of SimCorp or competing investment-management solutions (advantageous).
Experience in complex, consultative solution-selling environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
English required; French and German are advantageous.
Ability and willingness to learn and apply SimCorp's selling concepts and methodologies.
Willingness to travel as required; flexibility to attend the SimCorp office twice a week.
Benefits
SimCorp offers a competitive salary range (NYC: $130,000 – $180,000 USD) plus discretionary bonuses and benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans. The company follows a global hybrid policy, requiring in-office work two days a week while allowing remote work on other days.
