Description

We're looking for a

Written Content Creator / Copywriter

who can produce clear, confident, and persuasive written content for B2C and B2B brands. This is a 1099 role.
This role is focused specifically on

written content—not visual content creation . You will develop messaging that supports marketing, sales, and brand storytelling across a range of audiences, including fabricators, dealers, trade partners, and corporate stakeholders.
This role blends

craft, speed, and judgment . You'll be comfortable using AI tools to generate first drafts or outlines, then applying your own expertise to refine, humanize, and align content to each brand's voice, business objectives, and customer reality.
You understand that AI can get you started—but

brand credibility, clarity, and nuance come from you .
You thrive in a

test-and-learn environment , where content is created, refined, and improved continuously to better support business outcomes.
This is a remote 1099 part time role, working 10-20 hours per week
What You'll Do

Create high-volume written content across channels
Develop and refine written content including:
Product and service descriptions
Email campaigns and nurture sequences
Website and landing page copy
Blog posts, thought leadership, and educational content
Sales enablement tools and internal communications
Trade, logistics, and corporate messaging
Deliver content that is

clear, practical, and aligned to business goals .
Write, edit, and proofread with consistency and accuracy
Draft content efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail
Edit and refine for clarity, tone, and effectiveness
Proofread all materials to ensure:
Accuracy of product and service information
Grammar, spelling, and consistency
Alignment with brand voice and standards
Consistently deliver

clean, ready-to-use written content .
Operate in a test-and-learn content model
Produce content quickly to support campaigns and business priorities
Iterate based on feedback, performance, and evolving needs
Explore different messaging approaches, headlines, and formats
Continuously improve content based on real-world application
Leverage AI and content tools to increase speed and output
Use AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to:
Generate drafts and outlines
Create variations and alternate angles
Repurpose content across formats
Apply strong editorial judgment to ensure all content is:
Accurate and credible
Audience-relevant
Clear and human in tone
Translate business needs into effective content
Develop an understanding of how each brand operates:
Fabricators, trade professionals, distribution
Service reliability and operational excellence
Brand storytelling, culture, and reputation
Turn business priorities into content that:
Supports marketing and sales efforts
Communicates value clearly
Drives engagement and decision-making
Collaborate across teams
Partner with marketing, sales, product, logistics, and leadership teams to:
Gather inputs and validate content accuracy

What You Bring

Writing, editing, and proofreading expertise
3+ years of experience in written content creation (B2B preferred)
Strong ability to write clearly, edit effectively, and proofread thoroughly
High attention to detail and consistency

Comfortable producing content at a steady pace

Energized by creating, refining, and improving content continuously
Business and audience awareness
Understand how organizations market and sell products/services
Can tailor content to different audiences and use cases
