Overview

Produce and deliver research with differentiated market insights and actionable ideas to Barclays clients. Work includes analysis of market, sector, corporate and economic data to develop investment theses and produce best‑in‑class research notes, sector reports, and thematic studies. Present research views to clients through face‑to‑face, virtual interactions, written communications, and hosted events.
Responsibilities

Analyze data to support investment theses for your coverage universe.
Prepare individual company and sector notes, long‑dated thematic reports, and presentations for clients.
Engage with Markets, Client Strategy, and other stakeholders to raise awareness of research outputs.
Provide insights and research views to internal clients to help navigate markets and risks.
Collaborate with the supervisory analyst, compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure research is compliant and delivered in a timely manner.
Co‑create and lead initiatives to improve research quality and client engagement.
Mentor junior analysts and guide collaborative assignments.
Identify and manage risks, develop new policies and procedures for control and governance.
Communicate complex information effectively to stakeholders.
Qualifications

Proven ability to conduct detailed analysis and valuation of companies.
Strong proficiency in financial modelling and interpretation of detailed financial statements.
Sector experience in Aerospace & Defense, Defense Technology, or related industrial sectors.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with financial software and databases such as Bloomberg and advanced Excel.
Experience building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients.
Leadership experience and aptitude to mentor junior analysts.
FINRA licensing (SIE, S63, S86, S87) and/or CFA designation or in‑process.
Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital/technology proficiency.
Knowledge of risk and control frameworks, change management, and transformation initiatives.
Compensation

Minimum salary: $125,000
Maximum salary: $175,000
