Job Title : Second Shift Production Supervisor
Pay : $30.00 - $35.00/hour + $3.00/hour shift differential
Hours : 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM (Monday - Friday)
Start Date : ASAP

As a Second Shift Production Supervisor, you'll oversee and support manufacturing activities during the evening shift. You'll work closely with your team to ensure production goals are achieved efficiently, safely, and with quality at the forefront. Your leadership will foster a motivated, accountable environment, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What You'll Do
As a Second Shift Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

Supervising and supporting production staff during the second shift to meet productivity, quality, and safety standards
•

Participating in shift transition meetings to ensure seamless communication and handover
•

Monitoring daily production schedules and adjusting workflows as needed to meet deadlines
•

Promoting a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership
•

Training, coaching, and developing employees on safety, quality, and operational procedures
•

Conducting quality checks to ensure output meets company standards
•

Collaborating with maintenance teams to resolve machine issues and coordinate preventative maintenance
•

Addressing employee concerns professionally and resolving workplace issues efficiently
•

Maintaining accurate production records and timekeeping documentation
•

Enforcing safety protocols and OSHA regulations
•

Identifying opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, and team performance
•

Leading by example with professionalism, urgency, and strong decision-making skills

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Previous supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing or production environments
•

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•

Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn machinery and production processes
•

Ability to motivate, lead, and hold teams accountable
•

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
•

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced setting
•

Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) preferred
•

Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
