Casting - 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm)

divh2Caster Position/h2pInova Staffing is looking for an experienced Caster to join one of our clients in Willoughby, OH. They are a fast-paced, growth-oriented, global supplier of casted nylon and other engineering plastics, with locations in the United States and Mexico. 2nd Shift: 3pm-11pm $19/hr +, based off of experience/ppResponsibilities:/pulliOperating machines: Set up, operate, and maintain machines used for molding, casting, or core making. This may include turning dials and valves to regulate pressure, temperature, and speed./liliReading specifications: Use blueprints, work orders, and specifications to determine the settings and setups needed for casting./liliMeasuring and inspecting: Use precision measuring instruments to inspect products for defects and ensure they meet specifications./liliCleaning and maintaining: Clean and oil machines, and smooth and clean mold surfaces./liliRepairing: Perform repairs to pumps, tooling, and threads./liliUnderstanding terminology: Learn the basic terminology of the casting work center, finishing work center, and general plant equipment./liliUnderstanding recordkeeping: Learn the recordkeeping procedures of the maintenance department./li/ulpCasted nylon is a versatile engineering plastic that can be used to replace a variety of materials, including metal and rubber.
