Presentation Design & Creative Production Specialist
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite required) Duration: 3-6+ month contract Rate: $28-37/hour + W2, based on experience
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly creative and detail-focused Presentation Design & Creative Production Specialist to support the development of polished visual materials for executive communications, client-facing content, and internal business initiatives. This role requires strong expertise in PowerPoint and Adobe InDesign, along with a sharp eye for layout, branding consistency, and visual storytelling.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can translate complex concepts into compelling visual presentations, and is comfortable managing multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and enhance professional PowerPoint presentations that align with established visual standards and project objectives.
Design engaging slide layouts, infographics, charts, and visual assets that simplify complex information and improve audience engagement.
Produce high-quality presentation materials using advanced PowerPoint functionality, including custom templates, formatting systems, animations, and visual enhancements.
Modify and refine existing Adobe InDesign documents to improve readability, organization, and overall visual impact.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather content, interpret project goals, and deliver visually compelling presentation solutions.
Assist in creating and maintaining presentation templates, style libraries, and branded design assets for team-wide use.
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail across all deliverables while meeting aggressive turnaround times.
Apply creative problem-solving and concept visualization techniques to elevate presentation quality and communication effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
Demonstrated experience creating professional PowerPoint presentations in a corporate, consulting, or creative services environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including slide master creation, custom templates, formatting, visual hierarchy, and animation features.
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Excellent visual design skills with a strong understanding of typography, composition, branding, and layout principles.
Ability to maintain consistency across multiple presentation and document formats.
Professional Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia Design, or a related discipline preferred.
4+ years of experience in presentation design, visual communications, or creative production.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize under tight deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience working across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Creative mindset with a passion for producing polished, impactful visual materials.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid opportunity based in Boston, MA, requiring onsite presence three days per week. Candidates must be local to the Boston area.
