Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager (RSD) is responsible for revenue generation from travel agency partners and direct management of all aspects of Crystal Cruises’ business development in an assigned geographic territory. The RSD aims to increase sales and achieve established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Crystal Cruises.
Essential Job Duties

Develop a Tier One portfolio of travel agency partners within the assigned geographic territory and determine Tier 2 partners in collaboration with the Business Development team.
Conduct 20–25 physical or virtual sales meetings/calls per week, record and report through the company’s CRM platform, and incorporate into monthly reports.
Establish revenue targets with agency partners, review progress toward targets, and drive revenue growth.
Provide staff training via webinars to familiarize the agency’s travel advisors with the Crystal product and brand experience.
Identify and close affinity or promotional group business, helping agents identify group opportunities and organizations.
Create and manage an annual overhead budget to support co‑operative marketing plans with agencies; provide monthly forecasts of marketing spend and submit invoices.
Participate in travel agency partner events (physical & virtual), industry trade shows, ship inaugurals, onboard events, and “seminar at sea” or familiarization cruises as approved.
Maintain an e‑mail database of travel advisors, conduct informational webinars, and maintain a presence on at least one social media site, posting original content at least once per week.
Prepare annual business plans for the next calendar year, analyzing sales, marketing ROI, challenges, opportunities, and detailing actions to grow sales.
Ensure proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, the Crystal Cruises reservations system, and CRM platform.
Provide weekly and monthly sales reports, expense reports, marketing spend forecasts, and a 60‑day planned sales calendar.
Business Development Expectations

Achieve no less than an average yearly revenue target of 85% of the established goal (90% for incentive payout).
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
5–10 years of experience in travel industry sales, with luxury cruise line experience preferred.
Extensive knowledge of the luxury cruise market, competitive set, and international destinations.
Existing travel industry sales relationships in the assigned territory/region.
Demonstrated track record of sales success with a leading luxury travel company.
Management experience with sales teams preferred.

Requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching, with the ability to lift or push up to 35lb. Must manually operate standard office equipment.
Expected Hours

Full‑time position that may require working additional time outside normal business hours.
Salary Range

$90,000–$100,000 annually, with final compensation determined by experience, skills, and qualifications.
