Description
Develop architectural models for development, validation, and verification of GPU design.
Write bit‑accurate architectural models for hardware/software (HW/SW) co‑validation.
Write timing‑accurate architectural and micro‑architectural models for performance validation and correlation.
Support GPU hardware and software teams during model and design bring‑up.
Triage regression failures and debug failures to root cause.
Improve modeling infrastructure.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in C++ programming.
Experience with C++ modeling of computer architectures.
Experience with scripting languages Python, Ruby, or Perl.
Minimum of a BS plus three years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with advanced computer architecture.
Experience with GP‑GPU or parallel architectures.
Experience with computer memory hierarchy.
Experience with bring‑up and debug of complex systems.
Experience with GPU graphics pipeline.
Experience with performance analysis and debugging.
Experience with HDLs, Verilog, SystemVerilog or VHDL.
Experience turning architectural specifications into executable models.
Pay & Benefits
Base pay ranges from $135,400 to $250,600, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees may become shareholders through discretionary employee stock programs and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if they voluntarily participate in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments and relocation assistance.
