Creative Coordination Manager

The Creative Coordination Manager is responsible for maintaining a highly productive team of coordinators focused on accurate delivery of a range of projects from large‑scale seasonal campaigns to daily deliverables that drive retail business across multiple channels. The role requires strong alignment with integrated marketing and brand managers and demands the manager to supervise the team with laser focus on balancing creation, tracking, and management of creative project schedules for key business units across JD, Finish Line, and Finish Line at Macy’s.
Responsibilities

Manage the creative coordinator team to foster strong, trusted relationships, operate with agility, and excel as experts.
Build and manage end‑to‑end timelines for key initiatives and large‑scale omnichannel creative projects from concept through launch.
Direct and maintain weekly scheduling and resource allocation across creative teams (design, motion, print production, and copy), balancing business and marketing priorities with forward‑looking, week‑over‑week resource planning.
Create connections to plan and coordinate project schedules and resource alignment with external creative partners to ensure on‑time project delivery.
Manage creative freelance budget and project scope; lead the coordinator team on scope changes through all levels of projects.
Identify, monitor, and track issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical‑path deliverables.
Run weekly demand‑planning sessions as needed to maintain successful project scheduling and delivery.
Use data to deliver insights that can influence forecasting and accuracy in creative scheduling and resourcing.
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university or equivalent experience. Preferably in Business, Marketing, Communication, or Computer Science.
Minimum 4–6 years of relevant work experience in Interactive Marketing or eCommerce.
Experience organizing information, collaborating, thinking critically, and working as part of a team.
Strong project‑management and organizational skills with prior experience in an online production or project‑management role.
Preferred: Management experience, internal JD Finish Line experience.
Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; high Internet literacy; understanding of digital and media trends.
5+ years of managing and scheduling creative projects and coordinator teams.
Expert knowledge of Basecamp 3.
Intermediate knowledge of design, print, and digital production processes; intermediate understanding of photo/video production and post‑production processes.
Familiarity with agile workflow and Adobe Creative Suite.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail; master problem solver.
Physical Demands

Walk or move from one location to another regularly.
Periodically may need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Maintain punctuality and regular attendance consistent with company policies.
Average work week is 40–50 hours, which can vary depending on business need.
Work environment is a moderately noisy office setting.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $85,000 – $100,000 (depending on experience) with a 15% bonus target. All roles are eligible for the company 401(k) plan. Full‑time employees will be eligible for medical, dental, vision, sick leave, parental leave, and company‑paid time off.
