Producer - Commercial Lines

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Proactively identifies client’s needs and establishes key relationships by identifying and closing sell opportunities.
Maintains adequate knowledge of rating procedures, coverage, and the industry to effectively manage, maintain and develop client relationships.
Meets established production requirements.
Responds to client inquiries in a timely manner, providing creative solutions and establishing key relationships.
Manages the relationship and transitions maintenance to appropriate customer service representatives.
Completes application forms and assists CSR in obtaining loss runs and other documents needed for quoting purposes.
May be called on to submit the applications and related documents to carriers.
Maintains knowledge of coverage and the industry to develop client relationships.
Timely follows up with clients regarding insurance inquiries.
Reports on a weekly basis regarding prospecting activity and sales results.
Responsible for creating pipeline for commercial business to meet production goals.
Consistently contacts current customers and converts them into multi-line clients.
