Graphic Designer

Job Summary

This position is for an experienced Graphic Designer with a sense of ownership and drive to use creative skillset to advance DBI’s brand. The role will be based at DBI Headquarters in Herald Square, NYC, with a salary range of $70,000–90,000 plus semi‑annual bonus potential and benefits package. The Designer will create proprietary designs and promote DBI’s brand by telling visual stories through reports and presentations. The role requires independent idea generation, design execution, and clear communication of work status.
Primary Responsibilities

Work closely with the Creative Director to launch projects.
Produce graphic elements, presentations, formatted reports, internal documents, and marketing materials.
Understand project requirements and visual concepts including layout, type and fonts.
Communicate with creative and project teams and drive projects to completion in a fast‑paced environment.
Conceptualize and execute materials that meet company standards.
Pitch creative ideas to the Creative Director and create drafts for review.
Use design software and techniques to deliver final solutions.
Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
At least four years of experience in Creative, Brand Marketing, or Graphic Design.
Proficiency with Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop; preference for Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe XD.
Strong portfolio of past design and creative projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong creative thinker with ownership and responsibility.
Ability to tell a visual story to the executive team.
Strong project, time management, and multitasking skills.

Working Conditions

Work is primarily in an indoor office environment with protection from weather. Responsibilities include lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs, frequent standing, walking, bending, and use of office equipment. Requires normal face‑to‑face, telephonic, and web‑based communications. Occasional meetings after normal business hours may be required.
