FlexPoint Sales Account Manager - Midwest Region (Base Pay Plus Commission)
Summary

The FlexPoint Sales Account Manager serves as a member of the FlexPoint Sales Team, managing existing customer accounts and seeking out new customers by focusing on relationship‑building and consultative sales strategies. The manager meets sales quotas, manages the full sales cycle within the assigned region, and serves as a thought leader and trusted advisor to current and prospective accounts.
Key Responsibilities

Drive revenue and market share in a defined region.
Find and close new sales opportunities while growing and renewing established client partnerships.
Lead consultative discussions with prospective and existing clients.
Manage the entire sales cycle, ensuring that MQLs and SQLs move through the cycle in a timely manner.
Develop trusted advisor relationships with prospective and current clients, recommending products and services for virtual and blended implementation for K-12 districts, state agencies, and other educational organizations.
Create a path‑to‑goal strategy for the assigned region.
Meet or exceed key performance indicators.
Engage in professional learning opportunities and maintain an active presence on social media networks such as LinkedIn.
Engage with K-12 online learning programs and systems, including preferred learning management systems.
Communicate and present effectively at all levels of an organization, including executive‑level management and Board of Trustees.
Work cooperatively with FlexPoint and FLVS teams, including Customer Success and Implementation, and coordinate customer support.
Travel to assigned regions to prospect, deliver presentations, and facilitate customer meetings and consultations.
Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits, honoring schedules, and demonstrating respect for others.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Education, Marketing or related field.
5+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years directly in the education marketplace (preferred).
Experience utilizing Salesforce technology, CRM (preferred).
Proficient in negotiating techniques and prospecting skills.
Self‑motivated with a results‑driven approach.
Strong presentation skills and ability to deliver engaging presentations.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Demonstrated attention to detail.
Ability to function effectively in a high demand environment and work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to compile, review, categorize, prioritize, analyze and interpret data and/or information.
Compensation & Benefits
