Overview
This role offers a base rate plus commissions, with total potential annual earnings ranging from $74,726 to $115,000. The Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for planning, executing, and following through on a diverse range of client activities aimed at promoting mutual growth and profitability. The RM must maintain the highest level of client trust to ensure retention and exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities
Assist in resolving escalated client issues (25%)
Solicit feedback from internal and external partners to continually improve client service experience, online tools, conversion process, plan document management, quarterly statement process, year‑end compliance testing, and 5500s.
Conduct on‑site or virtual client meetings regularly, focusing on client growth, satisfaction, and retention (25%).
Identify opportunities to generate additional revenue through the introduction of EPIC RPS Investment 5 and administrative services (25%).
Manage communications between client representatives, trade partners, trust system vendors, and all levels of EPIC RPS staff (20%).
Perform other duties as assigned (5%).
Domestic travel required; travel less than 50% of time. Driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
ASPAA Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) or other industry certifications preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of ERISA requirements and experience administering a broad range of qualified plans.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present information and respond to inquiries.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legislative changes, business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
Ability to create reports, professional business correspondence, and procedures.
Proficiency with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
Strong analytical skills: defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing conclusions.
Knowledge of advanced Microsoft Office applications.
Competent in interpreting technical instructions and handling abstract and concrete variables.
Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
Physical Requirements
Communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers.
Stand for 75% or more of the time.
Move objects up to 10 lbs.
