About the Role
The Senior Media Planner/Buyer leads the development, execution, and stewardship of paid media campaigns. This role blends strategic planning, hands‑on buying, and data‑driven performance management. The Senior Media Planner/Buyer should have cross‑channel expertise and serve as a key partner to clients, internal teams, and vendors.
Responsibilities
Develop media strategies that demonstrate a thorough understanding of a client’s business and goals/KPIs.
Have knowledge and experience working in all traditional and programmatic channels.
Lead client presentations of media strategy and performance.
Monitor emerging media trends and proactively recommend innovative strategies that capitalize on new opportunities and align with client goals.
Analyze and interpret data to make data-driven recommendations.
Execute the planning, buying and stewardship of media campaigns, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
Negotiate optimal placements, rates, and added-value opportunities.
Manage client media budgets, track spending and adjust as needed.
Resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate financial management of media buys.
Monitor and report on campaign performance using internal and third‑party reporting systems.
Provide actionable campaign insights to guide future media strategies.
Identify opportunities to expand media services for existing clients.
Maintain and enhance strong relationships with clients, colleagues and media vendors.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in media planning and buying.
Deep knowledge and experience working with a wide range of media, including traditional (broadcast, print, out of home), digital and programmatic channels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, vendors and internal teams.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in media tools and software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary
Salary Minimum: $54,483 Salary Maximum: $84,448.
