Abeka Social Media Coordinator

The Social Media Coordinator will support the planning, creation, and execution of social media content for Abeka’s school and homeschool audiences, with a strong emphasis on Instagram, YouTube, and video-based platforms. The role is responsible for producing engaging, platform‑specific content that communicates the value of the Abeka curriculum, supports customer understanding, and increases audience engagement.
Responsibilities

Develop, coordinate, and execute social media content aligned with marketing campaigns, seasonal priorities, and business objectives, focusing on Instagram and YouTube as primary platforms.
Create and produce engaging video content including Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, and other short‑form formats that demonstrate curriculum usage, answer common questions, highlight product features, and support customer understanding.
Collaborate with internal teams to plan video concepts, script content, and ensure video assets align with brand voice and marketing priorities.
Monitor and respond to audience engagement across social media platforms, including comments, messages, and interactions, to support a consistent and positive brand presence.
Track engagement trends, identify opportunities to improve content performance, and recommend changes to future posts, video formats, and messaging.
Report on key social media performance metrics such as reach, engagement, video views, follower growth, and content performance, collaborating with the marketing team to ensure alignment with broader campaign goals.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience: Minimum 1+ years in business social media.
Skills: Communication, cross‑team collaboration, detail‑oriented, interpersonal relationships, prioritization, social marketing platforms, social media metrics, time management, video editing, video storytelling.
FLSA Status – Scanning (Non‑exempt).
Ideal candidates must be born‑again Christians dedicated to training young people for serving God, aligned with Pensacola Christian College’s mission, doctrinal position, philosophy of education, and faculty & staff commitments.
