Social Media Specialist & Creative Writer

Responsibilities

Own and lead strategy across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube for the Pennant Group.
Define and evolve Pennant’s brand voice across all channels.
Build and maintain a consistent, high‑quality content cadence.
Build content strategies and campaigns to grow audience.
Serve as primary writer and storyteller for the brand – create compelling posts, scripts and narratives that reflect Pennant’s mission and culture, and translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, human‑centered content.
Lead the LinkedIn Influencer Program: manage a growing network of 4+ internal influencers, develop and execute content strategies for each voice to build authentic, personalized content.
Grow and lead Pennant’s podcast presence – partner with the video production team and podcast hosts to drive engaging content, increase listenership, engagement and distribution reach.
Define target audiences and refine messaging to reach them effectively.
Build a sustainable posting cadence.
Develop and execute strategies to maintain consistent growth, track performance metrics, optimize content based on insights, and experiment with new formats, channels and growth tactics.
Qualifications

A strong writer with a clear, compelling voice.
Both strategic and hands‑on, able to think big and execute daily.
Deep understanding of LinkedIn and thought‑leadership content.
Experienced in growing social media audiences and engagement.
Passionate about storytelling that drives purpose and connection.
Comfortable leading initiatives and influencing without formal authority.
