Territory Sales Manager

Overview

As a Sales Manager, you will develop, manage, and grow Cosentino's commercial, Builder, and retail sales division. Responsibilities include increasing product awareness, acceptance, and sales across designated accounts and contract design, residential & commercial segments for both interior and exterior applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, helping them reach their goals and ensuring a positive, profitable relationship.

• Identify, pursue, and increase sales and brand loyalty by engaging architects, designers, fabricators, builders, developers, and related contractors.

• Develop and execute strategies to meet long‑ and short‑term sales plans for stone surfacing products within the territory.

• Present and sell company products and services to remodeling, home improvement, cabinet makers, builders, and fabrication clients.

Customer Service

• Provide adequate marketing materials (samples, brochures, display towers) to support sales.

• Resolve client concerns, set up customers in the CRM system, provide price quotes, and schedule visits.

• Increase market share by expanding displays and point‑of‑purchase materials within the assigned territory.

Account Management

• Manage account reports, own sales budgets, and maintain discipline to stay within sales and expense budgets monthly, quarterly, and annually.

• Assist with corporate account rollout programs on a regional basis as needed, including travel outside the assigned geography.

• Coordinate and promote Cosentino surfacing products with universities and associations; develop relationships with design industry leaders and students.

Business Development

• Represent and promote Cosentino in the community by hosting and attending local chapter events for ASID, IIDA, AIA, HBA, and other associations.

• Develop, establish, and grow relationships with builders, architects, designers, fabricators, general contractors, developers, and property managers.

• Maintain awareness of markets and pursue profitable opportunities within your core geography.

• Commit to continual learning and knowledge of Cosentino Surfacing Products, application and specification requirements, and the fabrication and installation process.

• Work with the General Manager and Sales Team to execute business strategy for all customer segments in the area.

• Evaluate, negotiate, close, and execute contracts/agreements for materials, installation, and services, as well as positioning in model homes, design centers, and showrooms.

Roles and responsibilities may evolve based on business needs; additional duties may be assigned without prior notice or consent.

Professional Experience

Required:

  • 4+ years of sales or field merchandising experience
  • 2+ years of commercial, Builder & K&B sales experience
  • Stone fabrication or distribution experience
  • Experience with customer database – Salesforce preferred

Knowledge

Required:

  • Excellent oral and written communication; ability to interact across all levels of commercial industry projects
  • Capacity to develop workshops or industry-related events

Academical Background

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
