Bedding division in the Midwest. This position is responsible for building and maintaining business relationships with furniture and bedding clients in the Midwest territory through prospecting, planning and effective communication./ppCarpenter Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operations excellence. As the Account Manager, you will be expected to develop and maintain working relationships with new and existing customers to ensure that they receive exceptional service and identify new sales opportunities. Timely follow up and problem resolution for the company and its customers is required, along with effective time management and travel when necessary. This is a remote opportunity working from a home office./ppYour additional responsibilities as Account Manager will include:/pulliKnow and understand Carpenter Co.s products and capabilities/liliDevelop and maintain working relationships with new and existing customers to ensure that they receive exceptional service and identify new sales opportunities./liliForecast, track, and analyze historical and forecasted sales while understanding and analyzing the competitive marketplace./liliCollaborate with plant personnel, RD, and management to develop solutions for customer issues./liliPartner with customers to develop innovative products applicable to the market segment./liliComplete and submit weekly reports, such as call reports, expense reports and car mileage reports./liliTravel to visit customers weekly, attend events or tradeshows as needed/li/ulpSkills/ Requirements/pulliBachelors degree in Business, Marketing or other related discipline/lili3+ years of proven business to business sales/liliExperience in Salesforce/liliPrior experience in bedding, furniture, or foam knowledge preferred/liliStrong interpersonal and negotiation skills/liliAbility to adapt to changing environments/liliAbility to thrive in a competitive sales environment dealing with a variety of customers at all levels of an organization/liliProactive critical thinker and problem solver/liliProficient in Microsoft Office Suite/liliAbility to travel up to 20%/liliThis is a remote opportunity working from a home office. The territory for this position is in the Elkhart division.
