Job Description
The Director, Commercialization Excellence AI & Digital Enablement will define and lead the business vision, strategy, and enablement of marketer-centric capabilities that enable high‑impact Global Core Asset Strategies, leveraging partnerships across the Global Commercial Strategy Organization. Leveraging deep marketing expertise, this leader will define real‑world marketer needs, workflows, and decision points and then partner with the Global Commercial Data, Digital and AI organization to translate these needs into user‑first AI solutions that accelerate insight‑driven decision‑making, launch readiness, and execution excellence. In parallel, the Director will serve as Business Product Director for key Commercial Excellence digital platforms (e.g., ONEStop Portal), ensuring sustained value, adoption, and measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Global Brand Strategy:
Proactively partner with DAS teams to create an integrated Global Core Asset Strategy that incorporates products from pre‑launch through post‑launch; ensure commercial strategies are grounded in insights that address market needs in future competitive environments.
Global launch planning:
Collaborate with GCSO teams to build effective and innovative go‑to‑market approaches for compliantly competitive and flawless launches; ensure global launch readiness in all aspects of product development, from labeling and launch sequencing, to packaging and naming.
Accelerate organizational capabilities:
Modernize Marketing Excellence and Launch Excellence approaches and deployment for consistent utilization across GCSO teams to elevate in‑asset strategy creation and propel winning product launches; identify and build meaningful capability expansion within GCSO and in connection to the regions.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required.
MBA, JD or relevant advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceuticals business required.
Deep knowledge and experience in Marketing strongly preferred.
Experience in Global Marketing strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success partnering with teams such as the Global Data, Digital and AI organization and J&J Technology to build and continuously improve digital and AI‑powered tools that have driven measurable impact (required).
Knowledge of advanced statistical analysis and machine learning techniques and ability to apply these methods to real‑world pharmaceutical data to derive actionable insights strongly preferred.
Demonstrated track record of leading highly matrixed, cross‑functional teams required.
Demonstrated high learning agility and problem‑solving capabilities required.
Demonstrated track record of strong collaboration across geographies and functions, and strong communication skills required.
Strong communication skills and ability to influence required.
Understanding of drug development processes and commercialization preferred.
Deep knowledge of J&J culture and portfolio preferred specifically in Oncology, Immunology and Neuroscience.
Travel of up to 10% domestic and international.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $150,000 to $258,750 USD.

Additional Description for Pay Transparency: Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following company‑sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
