Summary
This role supports the execution of strategic communications for a population health management project by managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and coordinating across stakeholders. Working closely with the Strategic Communications Manager, this role ensures communications are developed, reviewed, and delivered efficiently and on schedule. The role will be focused on a large engagement for the state of California.
Your role in our mission
Manages communications workplans, timelines, and deliverable trackers to ensure on-time execution
Coordinates review and approval processes, including tracking feedback, consolidating comments, and following up with stakeholders
Supports drafting and editing of communications materials, including newsletters, announcements, presentations, and web content
Prepares materials for meetings, forums, and external engagements, ensuring readiness and alignment with objectives
Coordinates logistics for communications forums (e.g., stakeholder meetings, webinars, presentations), including scheduling and materials distribution
Tracks the status of deliverables across multiple workstreams and proactively identifies risks or delays
Partners closely with the Strategic Communications Manager to prioritize tasks and maintain alignment with overall communications strategy
Supports documentation of meeting notes, decisions, and action items to ensure clear follow-through
Maintains organized repositories of communications materials and version control
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
2-5 years of experience in project management, communications, consulting, or a related field
Strong organizational and project management skills, with experience tracking multiple deliverables and deadlines
Ability to manage review cycles and coordinate across multiple stakeholders
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
