Description

Essential Functions
Manage the company's efforts in obtaining ISO 9001 certification.
Implement and manage the QMS (Quality Management System) and provide training to employees on QMS processes, procedures, and documentation.
Serve as the internal auditor to compare information laid out in the QMS to the company's day-to-day operations.
Provide recommendations in selecting a licensed registrar for an external audit.
Draft and submit the ISO applicant contract.
Lead efforts to resolve any minor nonconformities resulting from audits.
Requirements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.
Proven experience as a Quality Engineer, Quality Manager, Quality Control, or in a Quality Consultant capacity (advanced degrees may be substituted).
Experience with ISO 9001, including quality system certification.
Experience conducting training to non-quality personnel on QMS.
Experience as an internal auditor, including corrective actions.
Desired Skills

Experience with AS9100.
Experience as a Quality Consultant, preferably for small companies.
Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) a plus.
