Working remotely on a 12-month contract, the VFX Artist will create and implement real-time particle effects for gameplay, environments, and cinematics in games.
Key responsibilities
Create, design, and implement real-time particle effects using 2D/3D elements
Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper FX integration in the game engine
Optimize FX for framerate and memory while maintaining the overall art style of the game
Required qualifications
Five plus years of professional experience or equivalent education and experience
Proficiency in Maya and Houdini, with skills in keyframing and UV mapping
Experience with node-based shader networks and creating FX textures
Intermediate knowledge of computer graphics fundamentals and artistic analysis
Solid traditional arts background is a plus
