Position Summary
The Vice President of Walmart Customer Team is responsible for the profitable growth of Bimbo USA interests throughout the United States and is expected to design, develop, and execute the Walmart Customer strategy and vision. Build a world class Joint Business Planning process inclusive of all formats and business interests (Supercenter, Neighborhood, D1, Spark). Working and leading in tandem with Brand and Digital Marketing Teams, Sales Enablement, IT Data Integration, Sales Operations, Supply Chain Planning, Revenue Growth Management, and Field Retail Execution.
Key Job Responsibilities
Move Bimbo USA to a leadership voice in “Tomorrow Retailing” and the DSD Technology Space with Walmart, leveraging technology and next-generation DC reach.
Partner to win with Sales Operations Regional Vice Presidents to deliver profitable growth via Walmart in every region.
Partner to win with Brand and Digital Marketing Team Leaders to develop best-in-class campaigns, new products, and digital presence through Walmart Connect.
Ensure consistency in customer planning and analysis – KPIs, ROI, trade effectiveness, scorecards, dashboards, forecasts.
Deliver business objectives across units, dollars, share, and realization consistently.
Create a welcoming environment with the BARCEL Team and Grupo Bimbo to maximize resource utilization and scale leverage.
Build a working business model of influence with Walmart Merchants, Walmart Scintilla, Walmart Connect, Walmart Spark, and Walmart DSD Ops.
Demonstrate leadership skills that inspire performance in a high-functioning unit of industry professionals.
Show a Player‑Coach mentality to teach and develop, leverage team convergence, and bring varied talents.
Represent with executive presence and entrepreneurial mindset, speaking with senior leaders on facts, positions, recommendations.
Maintain Category Captain status and provide deeper internal category insights.
Build a stronger working group with Bimbo Canada Walmart, Mexico Walmart, and U.S. Walmart Customer teams, sharing best practices and information.

Education and Work History
Bachelor’s degree in business management or marketing; MBA preferred.
10-12 years of management experience, including time in a VP‑level role, in all aspects of Food/Beverages sales, planning, or relevant responsibilities in comparable industry.
Experience leading salaried associates and team responsibility.
Exceptional knowledge and history of accomplishments in sales and customer roles.
Proven track record of effective leadership, including people development.
Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills, negotiation and influencing ability.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and planning skills.
Strong computer skills and proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; high technology aptitude.
Travel required - 50%.
