Job Overview
As a Sales Coordinator at Ryder, you serve as the frontline sales agent for vehicle sales, collaborating across functional groups to meet sales projections and deliver high‑level customer service.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Compensation
Hourly pay $20–$24, paid weekly, plus a monthly per‑vehicle sale incentive based on total branch sales.
Essential Functions
Frontline sales representative for vehicle sales— in person, online, and via phone—executing marketing plans and coordinating outbound marketing efforts.
Act as liaison between Asset Management, Rental and Lease product lines, and manage the overall quality of the Lead Tracker database.
Cover for VSM as requested, and structure and sell ancillary products (finance and extended warranty) to meet customer needs.
Maintain inventory accuracy, manage vehicle security, handle vehicle quality and appearance, and perform yard checks.
Handle administrative tasks: manage unit files, sales recording systems, titling and licensing, compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley, Safety STAR Program, and other regulatory requirements; maintain cash log.
Additional Responsibilities
Assist with all aspects of the sales process to increase location sales.
Improve retail activity to maximize proceeds for sold vehicles.
Provide sales support to the VSM and enhance the sales process for customer retention.
Ensure Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance and maintain a neat, orderly work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
1–3 years (or more) of sales and/or customer service experience.
Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, and internet.
