Role Overview

The Associate Director, US Marketing IgAN, is a member of the commercial US IgAN Marketing team and the broader Rare Nephrology marketing team within the Hematology and Nephrology Business Unit. In this role, you will develop and drive strategies and tactics for healthcare providers and patient engagement for the IgAN launch in the US market, supporting the execution of the HCP educational strategy and contributing to the best‑in‑class annual HCP and Patient marketing plans.
Responsibilities

HCP Marketing Strategy & Omnichannel Planning

Develop HCP tactics, messaging, and omnichannel plans aligned to brand objectives.
Partner with Sales to apply best practices and emerging trends to strengthen HCP execution.
Define, track, and optimize campaign KPIs and performance.

Field Enablement, Promotion & Educational Execution

Lead development of field‑ready promotional materials across branded and disease education.
Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for Field Sales; lead field communications and meeting support.
Partner with Sales Training on onboarding, workshops, and meeting content.
Develop peer‑to‑peer education (speaker programs, webinars, on‑demand) with KOLs and TLL.
Lead congress and professional society strategy and assets.

Cross‑Functional Leadership, Agency & Budget Management

Drive cross‑functional execution with Sales, Medical, Omnichannel, Training, TLL, Business Ops, and review partners (PRC/Legal/Regulatory/Compliance).
Manage agency partners, timelines, budgets, and ROI.
Lead with influence to energize teams and align stakeholders to the brand mission.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a scientific, business, or related field relevant to the role’s responsibilities.
5+ years of marketing, agency, or consulting experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry; minimum 1 year in US commercial marketing.
Strong knowledge of MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Experience and proven track record of developing and implementing impactful digital campaigns and initiatives.
Strong ability to manage multiple projects across functional areas, work independently when appropriate, and lead in teams.
Comfortable managing multiple competing priorities and working through uncertainty.
Experience managing external agencies (AOR and Media) on a day‑to‑day basis and budget management.
Ability to travel up to 30%.
Ability to operate in an office environment, including computer use, phone, video, electronic messaging, and collaboration during standard business hours.
Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree (MS, PhD, PharmD or MBA).
Oncology, rare disease, or specialty care experience.
Experience developing and actively managing HCP and Patient media plans.
Demonstrated ability to lead without authority.
Ability to gauge feasibility, impact, and risks of proposed programs, develop mitigation plans, and secure internal advocacy and approval.
Scientific acumen or curiosity to learn.
Understanding of the hospital setting, hematology and/or nephrology.
Diverse pharma or biotech commercial experience in a variety of roles.
Prior experience in competitive markets.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $151,081.60 – $226,622.40 USD. The role offers a short‑term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in the equity‑based long‑term incentive program.
