Job Purpose
The position is responsible for overseeing sales, promoting company services/products, and establishing relationships and contact points with existing and potential customers as the trusted sales advisor for the assigned territory/region.
Responsibilities
Meeting or exceeding the agreed upon quota
Quote, negotiate, and evaluate sales potential of individual products
Managing sales territory
Generating and managing sales leads including leads from website, search engines, trade shows, referrals and personal networks
Accurately forecasting sales
Managing expenses associated with sales
Communicating industry intelligence
Facilitating customer needs and requirements
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS diploma/GED required
Experience: 5+ years sales experience required; 2+ years of athletic or educational sales preferred
Superior written, verbal, and negotiation/sales skills; industry knowledge preferred
