Passionate about romance publishing, the full-time salaried Editor for Romance Publishing will acquire, edit, and manage both adult fiction and young adult authors while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity from specified states.
Key responsibilities
Collaborate with the Editorial Director on long-range planning and list management for Bloom Books and Bloom YA
Identify and solicit manuscripts for publication while analyzing marketplace needs and establishing project schedules
Develop manuscripts for content and positioning, and work closely with marketing, publicity, and sales teams on related initiatives
Required qualifications
5+ years of publishing experience
Proven self-starter with initiative and leadership skills in book and product development
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Flexibility to adapt to a non-traditional publishing approach
Genuine passion for books and the publishing industry
