Owning the pricing and packaging strategy, the remote Product Monetization Lead will manage a portfolio of initiatives, build financial models, and execute go-to-market strategies to enhance Shopify's revenue across various product areas.
Key responsibilities

Developing and implementing pricing strategies that create and capture value from merchants throughout their journey
Conducting commercial analysis, including scenario modeling and margin analysis, in collaboration with Finance
Leading cross-functional pricing initiatives from strategy development to execution, including stakeholder engagement and presentations to executive leadership

Required qualifications

8+ years of experience in pricing strategy, product management, or corporate strategy, with at least 3+ years in direct pricing ownership at a technology or SaaS company
Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to build models from first principles and defend assumptions to stakeholders
Proven go-to-market experience, including rollout plans and merchant communications
Demonstrated capability to navigate between pricing strategy, financial modeling, and execution across various teams
A self-starter mentality with a track record of identifying and addressing process gaps proactively
