Editor I, Consent Forms

Supporting the IRB Services department, the full-time Editor I, Consent Forms will conduct pre-reviews and edits of consent forms to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with organizational standards while working remotely in the U.S.
Key responsibilities

Conduct pre-reviews of new and revised consent forms for regulatory compliance with applicable guidelines
Edit consent forms to ensure alignment with Advarra document standards and apply negotiated Sponsor language as needed
Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate necessary edits and stay updated on relevant regulations and guidelines

Required qualifications

2+ years of experience in technical, medical writing, and/or editing
Associate's degree
Completion of standard Human Subjects Research Training, such as CITI
Ability to attend IRB meetings for enhanced understanding of IRB processes
Familiarity with U.S. and/or Canadian Regulations in Human Subject Protections
