Johnson & Johnson (J&J) is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Sports‑Orthopedics, part of the DePuy Synthes portfolio. The role focuses on leading sales strategies, operations, and budgets across a designated geographic area, driving growth for trauma and orthopaedic products.
Position Location: Alabama (Any City), Mississippi (Any City), Pensacola, Florida, United States.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve DePuy Synthes trauma sales goals.
Recruit, hire, and retain a diverse sales team, ensuring all territories are staffed with qualified professionals.
Provide ongoing performance management, mentorship, and career development for team members.
Collaborate with consultants to set and hit territory objectives, focusing on patient care and customer satisfaction.
Lead acquisition of new accounts and deepen relationships with surgeons and key accounts.
Analyze market dynamics, industry trends, customer segmentation, and buying processes to inform strategy.
Manage product portfolio, driving revenue, profitability, and budget performance.
Control regional business expenses with fiscal responsibility.
Promote integrity, ethics, and compliance; support compliance initiatives, training, and programs.
Adhere to applicable laws and Johnson & Johnson’s compliance policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum 8 years of business and/or leadership experience and at least 2 years of management experience, coaching or mentoring others.
Evidence of leadership through change and ability to influence across complex organizational structures.
Strong product knowledge, clinical and procedural awareness, and experience with new product introduction.
Excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills.
Proven ability to develop and mentor field sales talent.
Track record of sales achievement and business planning in a complex, enterprise environment.
Valid driver’s license issued in the United States; ability to travel 30–50% of the time.
