Lead PHP Software Engineer

Leading a team of engineers, the full-time Lead PHP Software Engineer will oversee the design, development, and delivery of services-oriented integrations, ensuring reliability and performance while managing both technical and team leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical direction for architecture, design decisions, and implementation approaches
Manage and support a team of engineers with task alignment, coaching, and performance feedback
Lead the design of services enabling communication between internal applications and external systems

Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in PHP development
Strong proficiency in PHP and experience with modern PHP frameworks, preferably Laravel
Proven experience designing and building services and APIs
Strong experience with system integrations and service-to-service communication patterns
Prior experience leading or managing engineers
