WVTM 13, an NBC‑affiliate station in Central Alabama, is looking for a

Creative Services Intern

to help with marketing and promotion. The internship offers hands‑on experience in broadcast marketing, storytelling, and television promotion, working alongside experienced producers, editors, and writers to develop effective promotions from concept to air.

Responsibilities

Write news topical promotions supporting WVTM 13 News/Weather and station programming.

Assist with promo shoots and commercial production, both in‑house and on location.

Observe and participate in the creative process behind station marketing campaigns.

Support editing, script development, and production preparation within the Creative Services department.

Help produce Public Service Announcements (PSAs) and other projects that reflect WVTM 13’s commitment to the communities of Central Alabama.

Ideal candidates are undergraduate students or recent graduates with interest in broadcast promotion, marketing, writing, video production, or digital storytelling.
