POLITICO is seeking a Senior Audience Insights Analyst to join the Insights Team. This role is part of the global Data & Insights organization, leveraging data to tell a compelling story about the value of POLITICO. The ideal candidate will grow inside the role and proactively identify new opportunities for audience insights and data to drive impact across teams.
Responsibilities

Partner with the Media Business and Advertising Sales teams to align audience insights and targeting strategies with campaign goals
Build custom audiences and develop tailored targeting recommendations to meet advertiser objectives
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and compelling data storytelling across teams
Manage day-to-day audience insights requests, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of high-quality analysis
Maintain, enhance, and scale audience resources to support cross-functional teams
Collaborate with Data & Insights partners to help prioritize projects based on market needs and data gaps
Integrate audience insights into new product launches, campaign briefs, and go-to-market strategies
Own and manage the Data Management Platform (DMP), including vendor communication, platform optimization, and data integration across advertising products
Qualifications

2+ years of experience in data, analytics, audience insights or media buying
Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data visualization
Experience building presentations, with the ability to clearly communicate data visually
Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights that support business objectives
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present structured information clearly and tailor messaging to different audiences
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests and projects simultaneously
A growth mindset and intellectual curiosity, particularly around first-party data, audience targeting, and insights-driven strategy
