Under the direction of E‑Commerce and Sales leadership, the incumbent will lead the operational and media efforts that drive sales revenue on retail.com and marketplace business in North America. Experience working with retail.com and marketplace online channels such as The Home Depot, Lowe’s, or Walmart is required. We desire a leader who has a strong customer‑centric mindset, a willingness to disrupt and recommend processes to drive efficiencies, and works best with autonomy to make informed high‑velocity decisions. The incumbent must be comfortable and energetic to work with major retailers both virtually and in-person. The incumbent is also responsible for the planning and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns that capture and nurture targeting new and existing retail channel partners and ultimately drive sales to the Orbit and Gardena brand portfolio. These programs will be executed in partnership with agency relationships to accelerate our e‑commerce growth initiatives.
Responsibilities

Achieve Orbit’s North American e‑commerce sales and revenue performance targets, including revenue conversion rate, product merchandising, gross profit margin, inventory planning, EBIT, and leads projects related to product mix, operational excellence, and customer experience.
Collaborate regularly with the physical retail National Account Managers to drive the relationship and growth with the retail channel partner.
Oversee the end‑to‑end creation and execution of online advertising campaigns, including strategy, content, and execution of all campaigns and assets.
Monitor, analyze, and report media campaign performance.
Evaluate and maintain business marketing strategy to drive our brand story and provide recommendations for improvement in alignment with retail channel partners.
Develop, update, and implement quarterly strategic media and promotional plans with supporting budget.
Collaborate with internal cross‑functional business units such as Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Procurement partners.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Understanding of how online and physical store models work together.
Ability to synthesize complex data to make high‑impact decisions while taking proper steps to mitigate risk.
Experience presenting to major retailer buyers.
Strong customer‑centric mindset and strong desire to take ownership of full business.
Strong depth of knowledge in the discipline of online commerce, from discoverability to shopping experience to repurchase strategies and customer retention.
Proficiency in understanding the online attribution model to track customer shopping relationship.
Expertise in working in retailer vendor portals to manage business.
Ability to define technical requirements for site, platform and technology projects, and lead direct and third‑party teams through cross‑functional projects.
Capability to identify key drivers of sub‑optimal performance and define efforts and requirements to drive performance improvements.
Good organizational skills, including ability to manage projects efficiently and in a timely manner.
Ability to find, gather and collect information or data, evaluate information against a set of standards.
Ability to observe, measure, and evaluate outcomes against goals and objectives and direct the development and implementation of solutions and organizational changes.
Ability to communicate and understand information and ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
Strong e‑commerce skills, including the ability to drive engagement and purchase behavior.
Requirements

Experience with hardlines consumer goods is required; preferred experience in home improvement or gardening product families.
Deliver results with little supervision, exhibiting a wide degree of creativity and a think‑big approach.
Generally, 3‑7 years of experience in related roles.
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field from an accredited university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical and Safety Requirements

Sedentary: typically sit comfortably; may involve walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, driving an automobile.
Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
