The Product Manager – COA Library & Assets is responsible for the governance, delivery, and lifecycle management of client-specific Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA) libraries within IQVIA's COA Accelerator (COAA) ecosystem. This role owns the definition, composition, and maintenance of curated COA libraries for clients, ensuring that all instruments, versions, translations, and usage rights are accurate, compliant, and fit for reuse across studies.
The role acts as the primary point of accountability for COA library content, working directly with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality, governed COA assets that support study design, execution, and regulatory readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of client COA libraries, including inclusion criteria, structure, and ongoing maintenance.
Decide which COA instruments are included in client libraries based on scientific relevance, licensing status, and client requirements.
Ensure correct instrument versions, formats (paper and electronic), and approved translations are available and maintained over time.
Enforce governance standards for version control, metadata completeness, and audit traceability.
Ensure all COA library content complies with licensing agreements, usage rights, and contractual constraints.
Partner with Licensing to validate permitted use, geographies, languages, and modes of administration.
Act as a steward of intellectual property compliance within client libraries.
Serve as the primary client-facing contact for COA library requests, updates, and ongoing content management.
Translate client needs into curated, governed COA library configurations within COAA.
Communicate clearly with clients on library scope, updates, constraints, and timelines.
Support client adoption by ensuring libraries are usable, consistent, and aligned with study portfolios.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Product, Licensing, Translation, Scientific, and Technology teams to deliver complete and compliant COA libraries.
Coordinate content updates flowing from eCOA libraries, translations, or newly licensed instruments into client libraries.
Provide input into COAA roadmap discussions where client library needs inform platform capabilities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in life sciences, health outcomes, or related field preferred.
Experience in data product management, content governance, or asset management within clinical research or healthcare.
Working knowledge of Clinical Outcome Assessments (COAs) or related clinical data assets.
Experience working with licensing, intellectual property, or regulated content.
Strong stakeholder management skills, including direct interaction with external clients.
Ability to balance scientific rigor, compliance, and client needs in decision-making.
