Technical Writer with Security Clearance

Supporting the U.S. Army CECOM ASIC program, the full-time Technical Writer with Security Clearance will independently author and edit comprehensive user documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy while collaborating with developers and engineers throughout the agile delivery cycle in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities

Author comprehensive user guides and role-based documentation tailored to distinct user groups
Capture technical and functional details during sprint development to maintain alignment between software and documentation
Conduct quality reviews of documentation to verify technical accuracy and adherence to style standards

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent education and experience
2-4 years of professional technical writing experience for software or IT systems
Proficiency in authoring and formatting documentation, including integrating visuals
Experience gathering source material from developers and subject-matter experts
Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation deliverables
