Summary
This position is responsible for identifying regional market needs—particularly in the U.S. West Coast market—and managing the planning and implementation of sales strategies and product marketing to support corporate goals.
This role requires traveling two times per month.
Essential Duties
Market Analysis
Researches market conditions and conducts feasibility studies to determine and update market demand for existing and new products, including market trends, scale, prices, etc.
Gathers anlayses and compares competitor data, including products, activities, marketing efforts and pricing.
Determines customer viability and potential for new business.
Business Development and Sales
Ensure that the Company is in compliance with applicable regulations as a pump manufacturer.
Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
Create a budget for the sales activity.
Develops and establishes strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, external consultants, engineers and distributors.
E-mails, phone calls and sales call potential customers, introduces and describes products, gauges customer interest, provides quotation, negotiates terms and conditions to obtain orders.
Prepares for and attends trade shows to meet with potential customers and introduces the company’s products; follows up with sales calls via e‑mail and phone calls to potential customers.
Develops advertising, marketing and presentation materials.
Researches, identifies and meets with potential customers and after‑sales service agents.
Makes presentations to consultants and customers with engineer support.
Forecasts prepares and monitors the budgeting process.
Account Management
Handles investigation and resolution of customer problems.
Monitors distributor’s account receivables and business viability; coordinates activities regarding delinquent accounts.
Monitors and evaluates distributor’s performance and provides direction and guidance to improve their performance.
Oversees action plans for installation pumps.
Coordinates with customer distributors, agents and internal and external parties involved in sales activities, project status and other matters.
Documentations, Contracts and Reports
Prepares and submits marketing research, action plans, budgets, cost control plans, sales activity, inventory and expenses reports to the Sales Manager.
Prepares and submits monthly project reports to the Sales Manager.
Prepares and submits minutes for the meeting attended.
Develops and prepares technical documentation targeted for the U.S. market.
Prepares and reviews contracts; identifies potential risks by working with external attorneys.
Analyzes and provides recommendations for product liability risk.
Other & Miscellaneous
Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work process.
Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
Maintains high ethical standards in the work place.
Reports all irregular issues and problems to supervisors for solutions.
Maintains good communication with supervisors, other staff members and outside contacts.
Complies with all company policies and procedures.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

$80,000 per year, plus an estimated $10,000 bonus

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (B.S) in a related field or equivalent from four‑year college or university; or two to three years related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have at least two to three years of previous experience in a similar position.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, use hands to finger and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally must sit, climb/ balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
