Elastic Search Engineer

To support a dynamic team, the remote Elastic Search Engineer will lead and mentor junior developers, manage Elasticsearch clusters, and optimize the Elastic Stack in a high-availability environment.
Key responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of junior developers while fostering continuous learning and development
Administer and manage a self-managed Elasticsearch cluster on VMs, transitioning to Kubernetes (ECK) using helm charts
Utilize Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash scripting for automation and operational efficiency while ensuring the performance and reliability of Java applications

Required qualifications:

3 years of experience in a relevant field
Bachelor's Degree
Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain
Proven experience in leading a technical team within a federal data center environment
Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and Linux system administration in a high-availability environment
