The project requires a creative editor with a strong sense of rhythm and visual storytelling to assemble footage with flash cuts, bold color grading, and minimal visual effects. The final video should capture the vibrant, high-energy feel of contemporary pop music, drawing inspiration from artists like Charli XCX, Doja Cat, Conan Gray, and Troye Sivan. The editor will be responsible for ensuring precise lip synchronization and preparing the video for release within a month. This is an opportunity to contribute to a solo artist’s ongoing music project, delivering a polished, visually engaging final product that stands out in the pop music landscape.
Deliverables

Edit and assemble video footage into a cohesive, engaging music video
Apply flash cuts and energetic pacing to match the song’s style
Perform color grading to achieve a bold, modern pop aesthetic

Requirements

Proven experience editing music videos, especially in the pop or rock genres
Strong portfolio demonstrating creative editing, color grading, and visual storytelling
Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
Experience working with footage from Sony FX3 or similar cameras
Ability to match visual style to references such as Charli XCX, Doja Cat, and Troye Sivan
Keen attention to detail, especially for lip sync and pacing
