Job Summary

Seeking a dynamic and results-driven

Producer/New Business Underwriter

to join a team. This role focuses on new business development within the Property & Casualty (P&C) Binding vertical. The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing, managing, and retaining a consistently growing book of business while building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities

Develop and present proposals effectively and in a timely manner.
Negotiate and execute new and renewal production goals as established by management.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through solicitation, referrals, target marketing, and industry affiliations.
Gather information and recommendations for prospective accounts, present proposals, and secure new accounts while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Coordinate, present, and process new business efficiently and within deadlines.
Maintain accurate documentation of all communications and materials with clients and carriers regarding exposures and coverages in electronic files.
Assist in resolving coverage issues, audits, endorsements, accounting, claims, or marketing concerns as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in underwriting, brokering, or senior underwriting, with a focus on multi-line binding.
Expertise in Packaged & Monoline Policies, including P&C, Transportation, and Garage.
Proven track record in developing new business and growing a book of business and territory.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Active state-issued P&C license.
