Region Director – Northwest

Location: Oregon, Washington (field-based). Role: MedTech sales leader responsible for managing sales and clinical teams within the Northwest region.
Responsibilities

Direct the region’s sales activities that result in meeting annual growth and revenue objectives.
Set sales targets and forecasts.
Identify, hire, retain and develop talent through proactively managing performance.
Develop strategies for launching new accounts and greater penetration in existing accounts.
Establish effective communications with executives and managers across the company to ensure proper sensitivity to the needs of sales.
Lead difficult sales negotiations, especially with larger prospects.
Collaborate with functional departments of the company, specifically but not limited to Operations, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Regulatory, and Clinical Affairs.
Liaise with Marketing and Professional Education to further develop value added strategies, tools, programs and services.
Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of work experience with 5+ years of high-performance experience in the MedTech space, with a high preference for cardiovascular space.
7+ years of management experience of a field commercial team or a combination of 3+ years of successful leadership in the Abiomed Associate Region Director role.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
Preferred background with diverse functional roles (e.g., sales training, field enablement, etc.).
Proven track record of success in managing a growing sales organization.
Ability to gain cooperation of others and lead team members.
Ability to negotiate and influence senior level leaders & KOLs.
Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Ability to travel up to 60%.
Conduct duties and responsibilities in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry.

Base pay: $150,000. Eligible for a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program and a car allowance through the Company’s Fleet program.
