Job Description

Cox Enterprises is seeking an Account Director in Environmental Advocacy & Marketing. The role supports partner relationships with integrated marketing scopes, providing brand stewardship, creative solutions, and project execution across multiple disciplines.
Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

Maintain and strengthen partner relationships, serve as trusted advisor to senior leaders, lead partner meetings, resolve conflicts, and ensure follow‑up.
Strategic Planning and Execution:

Identify partner requirements, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, develop creative solutions, provide strategic direction, oversee pacing, manage scopes of work, and maintain account financial health.
Communication and Presentation:

Present clearly to marketing and program leaders, develop and present materials with strategic insights, synthesize information and offer proactive solutions.
Project and Team Management:

Autonomously manage multiple campaigns, facilitate cross‑departmental collaboration, review work for quality and timeliness, guide partners on project plans, and make decisions balancing goals.
Leadership and Development:

Mentor Account Team, conduct training, performance reviews, issue resolution, participate in brand activities, ensure best practices, and serve as a business‑development resource.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of industry experience, preferably in advertising agencies or in‑house creative centers.
Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience or Ph.D. with 1+ year, or 10+ years for non‑degreed candidates.
Passion for outdoors, conservation initiatives, and environmental advocacy campaigns.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with conservation and sustainability brands or global policy/advocacy work.
Strategic creative, brand, and media experience across web, video, events, print, and grassroots.
Storytelling skills, strategic guidance, and integrated campaign experience.
Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and team collaboration skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
