News MMJ/Backup Anchor

Lakeland News is looking for a MMJ/backup anchor to join our award‑winning news team. We are located in beautiful northern Minnesota just off the shores of Lake Bemidji in the heart of tourism country.
Responsibilities

Shoot, edit, and write your own stories.
Provide anchor work (experience preferred but not required).
Assist with on‑air reporting and anchoring.
Hands‑on internship experience is a plus.
Position is a one‑year contract.
Qualifications

Ability to shoot, edit, and write stories independently.
Preferred: experience as an anchor or on‑air reporter.
Preferred: internship experience in broadcast.
Open to talented candidates looking for their first on‑air reporting/anchoring position.
