Creative account manager

Linney is a world-class, multichannel marketing services business. We are looking to appoint a creative account manager to be an essential part of the client services team, working on one of our agency’s biggest accounts, in a critical role for transforming client goals into engaging creative work.

We are looking for an account manager to act as extension of our client’s marketing team, to build client relationships and a deep understanding of its strategy, developing Linney’s influence to ensure that we continue to challenge and innovate. The role is mostly based at Linney Create in Nottinghamshire but will also invove travel to client premises in London.

The successful candidate will understand our client's world and be proactive in responding to briefs, problem-solving and thinking creatively and quickly. They will work with a team of project managers, often being the conduit between a project and the client's wider objectives and acting as a key point of contact to build trusted relationships with main stakeholders, understanding their business goals and translating client needs into actionable, high-quality creative briefs.

The successful applicant will be the conduit between internal and external teams, leading on challenging briefs where necessary and contributing to strategic planning. They will identify opportunities to grow Linney’s influence and take a proactive overview of all projects to ensure that workflows are efficient and effective.

Essential experience and skills:

  • A fresh-thinking understanding of the creative world
  • Agency experience in a creative or integrated agency, or relevant client-side role
  • Strong interpersonal skills for senior-level client management
  • Good understanding of both account and project profitability, budgeting and commercial growth
  • High level of attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
  • Proven track record of managing integrated campaigns with multiple teams and complex deliverables

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Experience in creative campaigns in print, social, film and digital
