Commercial P&C Producer (Korean Language Specialist)

GuideStone, a diversified Christian financial services provider, is searching for a faith‑aligned, results‑driven sales professional responsible for prospecting and developing relationships within Korean‑speaking religious and nonprofit communities. The role focuses on the distribution of GuideStone’s proprietary P&C product, direct carrier appointments, or brokered markets.
Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

Execute comprehensive prospecting strategies across multiple channels (e.g., existing clients, referrals, program channels, target leads, outbound contacts, etc.)
Conduct discovery meetings in Korean or English to assess pain points, insurance needs, coverage gaps, and decision‑making processes
Develop and execute account‑based marketing strategies for key prospects, emphasizing Korean‑speaking ministries and nonprofit organizations
Leverage internal CRM tools and sales intelligence platforms to optimize prospecting efficiency
Evaluate inbound leads to ensure alignment with agency underwriting criteria and market availability, prioritizing profitable opportunities

Proposal Development & Presentation

Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and provide marketing materials, applications, quotes, and proposals
Conduct risk assessments and coverage reviews tailored to religious and nonprofit organizations
Create and deliver tailored proposals in Korean and English, detailing coverage, limits, deductibles, and pricing

Market Intelligence & Carrier Relations

Stay current on market conditions, carrier appetite changes, regulatory changes, and emerging coverage needs
Maintain expertise in specialized markets and industry segments

Client Transition & Handoff

Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through binding, maintaining detailed opportunity tracking
Execute seamless account transition to the Account Management team upon binding, providing comprehensive client background and expectations
Attend industry engagements, including conferences, conventions, and events within Korean‑speaking ministry and nonprofit communities

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and/or 2–5 years of sales experience; P&C sales experience preferred
Fluency in Korean and English (spoken and written)
Valid P&C license preferred; E&S license preferred; if not licensed, must obtain all required licenses within 60 days of hire
Active state of residence P&C license; ability to be licensed in additional states as required
Professional sales training or certifications valued
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and rating methodologies
Extensive knowledge of GuideStone P&C options, legal and compliance requirements, and competitor analysis preferred
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, both verbal and written, comfortable presenting to clients and senior leaders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Applied Epic or similar AMS preferred; Dynamics CRM proficiency preferred
Strong organizational and time management abilities; high energy, self‑motivated, strong work ethic
Strategic prospecting and networking, building relationships with C‑suite or small business leaders
Detail‑oriented, disciplined in documentation; ability to travel up to 25%
