Art Services Specialist, Private Banking (NYC & LA)
This role supports the execution of the national and local Art Services strategy at the Private Bank to drive client engagement, pipeline, and market share.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Art Services, the Specialist will deliver the full suite of Art Services—art lending, art planning, art consulting, consignment services, and arts philanthropic solutions—to clients alongside their coverage team. Responsibilities include developing client‑specific strategies, creating market-level business development plans, managing client analytics and prospect lists, engaging with Private Client Advisors and referral sources, cultivating relationships with art collecting clients and institutions, presenting at art market events and auctions, and contributing to thought leadership in the art market. The role requires cross‑functional collaboration, multi‑priority management, and strong commercial acumen.

Required Skills

5+ years of experience in an art business setting (auction house, gallery, appraisal, art advisory, or related field)

Deep knowledge of the art ecosystem, commercial art world, and art institutions

Strong commercial acumen, influencing, and client coverage skills

Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and manage multiple priorities while delivering results

Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills

BS/BA degree; advanced degree preferred

Minimum Education Requirement
High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent

Work Hours
1st shift (United States), 40 hours per week

Salary
$105,300.00 - $188,700.00 annualized, based on experience, education, and skill set.
