About the Job
We are seeking a versatile IT Systems and Web Specialist who will support daily IT operations while managing and enhancing both the company intranet and external website. This hybrid role is critical in ensuring reliable IT support, seamless internal communication, and a high‑performing, secure, and user‑friendly web presence.

You will act as a key technical resource for end‑users while also taking ownership of intranet administration and WordPress website management—ensuring alignment with business goals, performance standards, and user experience expectations.

What You’ll Do

Provide day‑to‑day technical support for hardware, software, network, and user‑related concerns

Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues efficiently to minimize downtime

Administer and maintain the company intranet, including content updates, user access, and usability improvements

Manage and maintain the company’s WordPress website, including building, updating, and optimizing pages

Customize themes and plugins to meet business and design requirements

Perform site performance optimization (speed, responsiveness, and SEO best practices)

Troubleshoot website issues and ensure uptime, security, and scalability

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve both intranet and website user experience

Support IT compliance initiatives, including audits, documentation, and policy implementation

Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes (account setup, permissions, etc.)

Conduct user training and promote IT best practices

Develop basic automation or enhancements using scripting tools

Monitor system and website performance and recommend improvements

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

1–2 years of relevant experience in IT support, systems administration, web administration, or equivalent experience gained through internships, academic projects, or freelance work

Hands‑on experience managing WordPress websites, including theme and plugin customization (academic or professional)

Fresh graduates with strong technical foundations and practical project experience are encouraged to apply

Experience or exposure to intranet administration, content management systems, or internal digital platforms

Working knowledge of WordPress site building, optimization, troubleshooting, and best practices

Basic to intermediate understanding of website performance optimization, SEO principles, and responsive design

Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with a proactive, user‑focused mindset

Working knowledge of Microsoft environments such as Active Directory, Exchange, and Azure

Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, HTML, CSS) for automation and web/intranet customization

Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users

Awareness of website security, performance, and scalability best practices

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail
