Position Overview

The Regional Account Manager’s core role is to develop, maintain, and expand professional relationships with community businesses and organizations to increase donor participation and blood donations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Recruit donor groups within the assigned territory to conduct blood drives.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with blood drive coordinators and organizations.
Train, motivate, and direct blood drive coordinators and committees to ensure successful drives, including planning and marketing.
Provide the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers.
Plan and execute efficient blood drives with attention to detail and accuracy of projections.
Recruit donors to gain new donors and increase donation frequency.
Schedule blood drives for a consistent supply of blood and achievement of collection goals.
Meet key performance indicators such as individual collection goal, projection accuracy, and DaSH (donors per staff hour). May act as LifeStream representative at any event.

Maintain a high standard of conscientious, courteous, and enthusiastic service to all customers, prioritizing their needs in face‑to‑face and telephone contacts, and demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills.
Complexity

Work involves multiple unrelated processes, requiring analysis and selection among alternatives. Decision making often requires assessing unusual circumstances and incomplete data.
Supervision

Employees operate independently to design and execute programs, with broad administrative direction from the supervisor.
Qualifications

Ability to present LifeStream professionally with a positive attitude.

Organizational, time‑management, and listening skills.
Creative and innovative thinking.
Experience in sales/territory management or marketing preferred.
Strong customer service and negotiation skills.
Self‑starter, able to work independently.
Education

BA in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field preferred.
Certificates, Licenses & Other

Current California Driver’s License.
Company car provided.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
