Production Supervisor / Production Leader
Supervise and coordinate daily production operations to ensure efficient manufacturing of high-quality automotive components through injection molding, assembly, and stamping processes. Responsible for achieving production targets while maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards, and driving continuous improvement. This role also focuses on developing operators and technicians to ensure stable operations and on-time delivery.

Essential Duties

Supervise daily operations on injection molding and assembly lines, ensuring adherence to production schedules and product specifications.

Assign work tasks, monitor progress, and optimize the use of manpower and equipment.

Collaborate with Production Control, Maintenance, and Quality teams to resolve production issues efficiently.

Ensure compliance with quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and implement corrective actions as needed.

Support continuous improvement activities (PDCA, 3 Reals, Kaizen) to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.

Monitor production data and KPIs to identify performance gaps and implement countermeasures.

Train, guide, and evaluate production operators and technicians to build a high-performing team.

Promote workplace safety and maintain 5S standards on the shop floor.

Communicate production status, issues, and improvement plans with engineers, peers, and management.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field preferred, or 5–7 years of experience in injection molding or automotive production.

Proven experience supervising production teams in a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of injection molding and/or assembly processes, equipment, and troubleshooting methods.

Ability to stand, walk, and move around the production floor for extended periods.

Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.

Willingness to work in an environment with manufacturing equipment, machinery noise, and occasional exposure to chemicals.

Ability to wear appropriate PPE in all designated areas.
